In times of the global COVID-19 pandemic, trade fairs emerge one of the most badly hit industries. After all, thousands of people flying in from all over the world mingling in halls isn’t quite aligned with what we’re used to in the last couple of months, with social distancing measures.

DMEXCO not taking place physically this September therefore didn’t come as a surprise. But thinking outside the box became a clear necessity. After all, how many have been doing home office for a prolonged period of time, and how many are starting to feel jaded with webinars by now?

It’s safe to say that DMEXCO turned the crisis into an opportunity, as they had developed an elaborate networking platform to model a physical tradeshow as closely as possible – and beyond.

Gaining insights through masterclasses and deep dives

One of the reasons why many attend dmexco is the opportunity to keep up with the latest in the market. DMEXCO has always had a great lineup in masterclasses, armed with market trends, case studies and tips and tricks that marketers and CMOs alike can takeaway to optimize in their day-to-day operations as well as consider when making strategic decisions.

Participating in themed lounges

One of the most exciting segments of this year’s digital DMEXCO is the concept of the virtual café! There will be invite-only themed spaces in the virtual café available.
